Kiszivárgott információk szerint az Xbox 360-hoz érkező első “Project Natal” kódnevű készülékek pontosan egy év múlva (2010 Novembere) fog a piacra kerülni. Érdemes is erre az időszakra  behozni, hisz 1 hónap van a megjelenés és a karácsonyi időszak között, így szinte biztos, hogy sok háztatásban kerül majd a fa alá.  Persze mindenki az áron gondolkodott, hogy valószínűleg mekkora lesz ennek a kis kütyünek az ára. (jó magam egy komplett X-Box 360 árára gondoltam 200$-300$ körüli értékre) Nos a tervek szerint a Natalt mindössze 50-80$ közötti összegért tudjuk majd megvenni és ehhez kapunk majd 14 játékot is. (Gondolom valami egyszerű arcadeokat kaphatunk. De mindegy is. Önmagában is megéri)

Mindenesetre várjuk, biztos jó szórakozás lesz, és ezzel a lépéssel azért lehet a piacon teret nyerni. Lásd Wii.

Nemrég a Google bejelentette, hogy beszáll a navigációk piacára, és ingyenes GPS szoftvert biztosít a felhasználói számára. Természetesen Google Mapson alapul a rendszer, és a szokásos funkciók mellet a Google navigátor, hangvezérlést, valós idejű közlekedési információt, valamint utca szintű műholdképeket is biztosít. És mindezt ingyen! Igaz első körben csak az Androidra nyújtja ezt a szolgáltatást, és folyamatos internet kapcsolat is kell. De későbbi tervekben benne van a többi platform, és az offline üzemmód is. Sőt az Apple iPhonejára is fel fog kerülni az új navigációs rendszer.

Várható is volt, hogy ennek a lépésnek a következtében a befektetők elvándorolnak az eddigi navigáció szoftvereket gyártó cégektől mint a Garmin, a TomTom vagy a magyarországi érdekeltségű Nav N Go. Érezhető volt ennek a bejelentésnek a hatása, hisz a TomTom és Garmin részvényei rövid idő alatt 15-20% estek, ami a tőzsdén hatalmas esés.

De vajon a Googlenek mi a szándéka ezzel? Minden piacot elpusztítani és felhasználók már csak az ő ingyenes tooljait használják? Mert addig oké, hogy beépíti a saját rendszerébe ingyen (Megjegyzem az Internet Explorer, vagy a Windows Media Player is ingyenes a Windows rendszerekben, még is megbüntette az Eu a Micrsoftot. Na akkor ez hogy is van?) de ezzel  elpusztítja a többi ISV-t.  Elég agresszív üzletpolitikának tartom ezt a Google részéről, hisz az ingyenességével kiirtja a szoftver piac bizonyos érdekeltségei, így a végén csak ő lesz az egyeduralkodó. Ez persze felhasználói oldalról nagyon jó, hisz ő ingyen kapja az eddigi pénzes szoftvereket (ráadásul a Google elég jó minőségű szoftvereket is gyárt. Minden elismerésem ezen a téren a Googlenek.) Viszony, ha cégként gondolkodom akkor kicsit rémisztőleg hat, hogy egy nagy multi megcsinálja ugyan azt a szoftvert mint például az én cégem, akkor, hogy versenyezhet a cégem azzal, hogy a multi ingyen és szinte az összes platformra megcsinálja. Ezzel így már nehéz versenyezni.

De mondjátok el ti is a véleményeteket, mert én valamilyen szinten elfogult vagyok ezen a téren. Ti mit gondoltok erről? Jó lesz, vagy rossz lesz ez a piacnak vagy a szoftver gyáraknak?

Ahogy kijött a Windows7 a Microsoft marketingesei több fronton is támadnak. Világméretű kampányok indultak, Windows7 party -k, termékbejelentő konferenciák váltották egymást. Olyan szinten költenek az új operációs rendszer marketingjére, hogy még kis hazánkban is láthattunk jó néhány nagyszabású reklámot. Pl: A BKV (7 és 173 ++) járatain is ott díszeleg a “Megérkezett a 7-es Windows 7” reklám. Japánban pl. A Burger King külön menüt készített a Windows7 megjelenésének alkalmából.  És imme a Family Guy-os marketing is.

Windows Server 2008 R2, or simply R2 for short, is the second release of Windows Server 2008. It isn’t a completely new release, but rather adds
additional features and refinements to the existing release. In this book, we focus on the new features and refinements in R2. We assume you have at least a general knowledge of Windows Server, and that you have some familiarity with Windows Server 2008, although we don’t assume you’re actively running Windows Server 2008. Where an R2 feature is a refinement of a feature that was new in Windows Server 2008, we provide background on the Windows Server 2008 feature to provide context.

Who This Book Is For

This book is targeted primarily at Windows server administrators who are responsible for hands-on deployment and day-to-day management of Windows-based servers for large organizations. Windows server administrators manage file and print servers, network infrastructure servers, Web servers, and IT application servers.

They use graphical administration tools as their primary interface but also use Windows PowerShell commandlets and occasionally write Windows
PowerShell scripts for routine tasks and bulk operations. They conduct most server management tasks remotely by using Terminal Server or administration tools installed on their local workstation.

What This Book Is About

Covering every aspect of Windows Server 2008 R2 in nine chapters and approximately 200 pages is clearly an impossible task. Rather than try to cover everything,
we’ve focused on what is new and important, while giving you the context from Windows Server 2008.

Chapter 1, “What’s New in Windows Server R2” Provides a brief overview of all the new features and capabilities of Windows Server 2008 R2.

Chapter 2, “Installation and Configuration: Adding R2 to Your World” Covers minimum system requirements, basic installation and configuration of R2, and
what is involved in adding an R2 server to an existing Windows Server network. Configuration of the Windows Server Core installation option, added in Windows

for Terminal Services) and the enhancements of Windows Server 2008 R2, including Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), which uses the new RD Virtualization
